Congrats to Allison Lee Isley, 2016 Photojournalism graduate, now a staff photographer at the Winston-Salem Journal, won the North Carolina Press Association’s Hugh Morton Photographer of the Year Award and the John H. White “Keep in Flight” Award at the Eddie Adams Workshop. Two extremely prestigious awards in a couple of months!
Commercial Photography students worked in teams to create 30 second TV advertisements for the renovated photography department at RCC
Sarah Mitchell, owner of Sarah Lynn Studios, has earned the prestigious title of Certified Professional Photographer from Professional Photographers of America. According to PPA, “the Certified Professional Photographer (CPP) credential serves to identify professional photographers who have demonstrated technical competence through a written examination and photographic image submission.”
In 2016, Sarah earned her degree in Photographic Technology, Portrait Studio Management. Sarah’s studio, based in Rockwell, NC, serves clients in the counties of Cabarrus, Davidson, Rowan and North Mecklenberg.
The Commercial Photography and Photojournalism classes shared a lab creating a marketing image for the Asheboro Police Department.
