Chuck Egerton, former department head at RCC photo and instructor for design, history, commercial and view camera, used Polaroids as a way to teach various concepts. We are fortunate to have quite a few of the images Chuck and the students made over the years and will be sharing more of the Polaroid collection in the future.
Nothing says color funk quite as well as an out of date Polaroid.
PHO 135 Product Lighting class Can-A-Palooza 2018 class picks.
RCC photo students were assigned to teams, given a soft drink can and tasked with creating product images in the midday sun using only passive modifiers. The students had no idea that they would be doing this prior to class and there was a limit on both production time and editing.

RCC commercial photography student and soon to be graduate Art Davison spent some time in Italy this past spring doing fashion work and was published in the spring edition of PUMP magazine. Great job Art!

This week’s Small Format weekly theme was “Painting With Light.” Students had to do more than wave a flashlight around, but use their small strobes to paint a scene. Breanna Winze painted the forrest with gelled strop pops and then created her Cinderella carriage with a flashlight!
