2016 Photojournalism graduate Allison Lee Isley won the Student Photographer of the Year award at the annual North Carolina Press Photographer’s Association meeting. Allison’s portfolio included images she made for class assignments, her internships and her first job. Allison is now a staff photographer at the Winston-Salem Journal.


RCC featured in Our State Magazine


The January 2017 issue of Our State magazine highlighted photography and RCC was featured throughout the magazine, including a story about the program and a feature on our alumni who contribute to Our State.

2016 Photojournalism grad gets APTOPIX


2016 graduate Allison Lee Isley, now a staff photographer at the Winston-Salem Journal, had her image from the Wake Forest vs Coastal Carolina men’s basketball game picked as a daily Top Pix by the Associated Press. Each day, AP photo editors pick the day’s top photos, called APTOPIX for members to use. Congrats to Allison!
