Celebrating the multimedia and the photography of the Randolph Community College Photography Class of 2017
Photojournalism student Tyler Brock won the A.Dorian Memorial Student Award during the Center for Visual Artists (CVA) Greensboro’s photo biennial CAPTURE 2016 Juried Photo Exhibition on Friday, Sept. 2.
The photograph “Gus the Bus” was a long exposure image of a bus in a field, with gelled strobes on the inside and star trails in the sky.
Randolph Community College’s 2016 Portrait Studio Management students are inviting the public to view their final portfolios at the school July 20-22.
The portfolios will be available for viewing in the 2nd-year portrait bays in the Photography Imaging Center on the Asheboro Campus from 9 a.m.-5 p.m., Wednesday and Thursday, July 20 and 21, and 9 a.m.-1 p.m. on Friday, July 22.
Portfolios from the following students will be on display Rebekah Cross, Chelsea Mehalek, Sarah Mitchell, Javas Reid, Melea Schneider and Tasha Thomas, Durham.
Students had their work critiqued by professional photographers James Walters, Lindsay McManus, Karen Goforth and Kevin Glaser.
