Randolph Community College photojournalism alumni Jerry Wolford, a photographer at the Greensboro News & Record, won the photographer of the year for the Southern Short Course in Photojournalism, a national photography contest, and was also named the North Carolina Press Photographer Association’s Photographer of the Year and Sport Photographer of the Year during their annual seminar and awards meeting.
