Blake Hendrix, 8, attempts to remove a part of the dash from an old Saab in the front yard of his home outside of Berea, Ky. Blake is helping to strip the car for parts to sell with his two brothers and two friends.

The photo was taken when Dillon attended the Mountain Workshops, a photojournalism workshop series in Kentucky. The image was a feature in Dillon’s 5th place portfolio. Dillon is continuing his education at UNC Chapel Hill, studying for a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Mass Communication with a photojournalism specialization.
