Chris Hondros A Retrospective
Exhibit Opens in Raleigh
The first gallery exhibition chronicling over a decade of conflict photography from the late Chris Hondros is now open at ARTSPACE in Raleigh, NC. Hondros (March 14, 1970 – April 20, 2011) moved to Fayetteville, NC as a child and studied English Literature at NC State University and Masters degree from the School of Visual Communication in Ohio. Later Chris Hondros worked as a staff photographer for Getty Images.
Hondros was killed while on assignment in Misurata, Libya on April 20, 2011.
This exhibition will be on display at ARTSPACE Gallery Two April 6 – May 26, 2012.
